My experience with caring for those with special needs has been heartwarming. I worked for a special needs facility from May 2008 to May 2010. I provided care for 2-5 people per day. I would assist with anything from ADL's (Activities of Daily Living, i.e.: showers, baths, brushing hair/teeth, getting dressed) going for walks, using wheelchairs, van transportation, cooking, light housekeeping. (I worked with ages 3-85.)
