Hello! My name is Melissa, I have many years of childcare experience. I have many friends and family who have children which I help watch and babysit. When I was in high school I worked at an elementary school with pre-school and 2nd graders as a teachers assistant. I would help kids with everyday tasks in the classroom and also have fun, play outside and do recess duty. After I graduated high school I started working at a daycare center where I worked from Aug. 2005-Oct. 2010. While I worked at the daycare I watched over all ages of children from 6 months to 12 years old. There were a couple of children with special needs who I helped watch. There was a little boy and little girl who had down syndrome, and another younger boy with autism. I love working with all types of children no matter what condition they may have or what age they are. I am also First Aid/CPR certified.
