I have over 10 years of special education experience in Costa Rica and public and private elementary schools. Most of my experience is with children from 5-12 years old, but I have some infant experience as well (as we have a 5-month-old son). My husband is American and we recently moved to the United States and I am looking for a caregiver opportunity where I can bring our son. I am open to special needs children or non-special needs children. I have a very strong understanding of English, but Spanish is my primary language. My husband works in Columbia, MD and I am open to opportunities in the greater Baltimore area - including York, PA.

Melisa has been a good friend for over two years. She is an amazing woman and mother to her son. Melisa is an intelligent, loving and kind friend who always has the welfare of others in mind. Whether teaching in her native Costa Rica or interacting with her son, she has an amazing demeanor with children. Children simply love her-- especially when she speaks the them in Spanish. She truly is a natural. I highly recommend Melisa for any caregiving position and would trust her with my children without question.
