My experience with individuals with special needs began with my best friend's sister growing up. She is an incredible person and I was able to babysit her and grow close to her, she is like a sister to me. She is truly one of the most funny and uplifting people I know. I have also worked as a direct care provider for youth with special needs throughout college and as an inclusion facilitator at summer camps. I am currently a graduate student in school counseling and have a passion for ensuring that every individual is able to be seen for their strengths and helped reach their full potential regardless of potential differences in abilities.
