Many experiences in my life have led me to have a compassionate heart towards those with special needs. I have spent many years of my life working with children and adults undergoing chemotherapy. These years give me a passion for health care and its ability to help those in our community. Furthermore, I spent time in New Delhi (India), aiding orphans with special needs. The children's needs varied from cerebral palsy, autism, blindness, deafness, down syndrome, narcolepsy, polio, spina bifida, physical deformities, and many of the children were not diagnoses. Along with observing occupational therapists, I personally provided the children with recreational activities. I taught the children how to perform activities of daily living such as eating, dressing, and writing, while incorporating playful games, instruments and arts and crafts. Over the years, I have developed a strong desire to improve the quality of life for those in need. I am currently a Psychology student in University and will be attending graduate school for Occupational Therapy in University. I aspire to be a guiding light for you and your loved ones.

In the eight years I have known Meaghan, I have continually been in awe of her kindness, maturity and dedication. Meaghan first came to work for me to fit chemotherapy patients for wigs. Her compassion for her patients was always more than exceptional. She continually went beyond her required duties to ensure that each patient was well taken care of. She adapted well to the diversity of each patient's needs and her therapeutic methods and charismatic character lifted the spirits of everyone she worked with. Today, I am proud to say that Meaghan is one of my closest friends. In fact, she is really more like family to me. My three daughters (ages 6 yrs., 3 yrs., and 6 months) love her and I trust her with them implicitly. As a mother I understand the stress and concerns involved with inviting someone into your life and your home to care for your children. Meaghan has impeccable morals and standards that she clings to in both her personal and professional lives. She is a creative thinker who is dedicated to accomplishing any task put before her. I can assure you Meaghan will positively impact you and your child(ren) far beyond your expectations.
