I am a 25-year-old graduate student who has experience working with kids ages 7-18 with all different types of disabilities and illnesses including CP, cancer, dyslexia, speech delay, MD and paralysis. Last year, I worked full-time at a homeless shelter with children in downtown Seattle and I moved back to Denver after hiking the Camino to begin grad school. I have worked as a full-time caregiver and I'm proficient in transfers/lifts as well as assisting with personal hygiene (grooming, toileting, bathing, feeding, etc). I am positive, respectful, outgoing, kind and patient. I love to sing, play the ukulele/games/sports, read and spend time outside. I don't mind helping out with errands and housework including cooking. I am dependable and my schedule is extremely flexible. I have a driver's license and a car. I am trained in CPR and First Aid. References, background check, picture, etc. are available at further inquiry.

We have worked with many caregivers over the past twenty years and Maura stands out as among the very best. Maura is competent, caring, dependable and trustworthy. In our home, she administers meds, helps with transfers, puts on orthotics, provides transportation, prepares meals and provides assistance with eating, bathing, dressing, etc. While taking excellent care of our child s physical needs, she is also sensitive to our child s emotional needs and takes an active role in helping her grow in independence. Maura is prompt and dependable which enables us to schedule our own activities with confidence. When we are away from home, we are confident that both our child and our home are well-cared-for. We recommend her without reservation.
