As a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) I have worked with a plethora of patients, mostly those on Hospice. However, I have worked with children in a classroom setting who are hearing impaired. To be honest, that experience was many years ago while my own children were young but the experience gave me a passion to help others in need. It is exciting to discover even the tiniest progress and see difference it makes. I wish I could say that I've had years of experience on a daily basis. The important part, to me, is what's in my heart. The passion to provide TLC and make a difference is something that cannot be taught. I truly care. While my own children were growing up, I was always the Team Mom, the Room Mom, the volunteer Mom and the mom who had all the kids hang around our home just so that I knew where they were and that they were safe (and fed). It makes me so happy to participate in the learning and life experiences the children have. I love reading, writing, and doing research on a wide variety of subjects. HGTV is my favorite as I'm a D. I. Y person. Other interests include dogs, baseball, calligraphy, socializing, decorating and organizing (crazy?). Let's chat!
