Hi everyone! I have been working with children for 7 years but for the last three years I have been working with children who have special needs. I have experience with children who are g-tube fed, need special therapies (Speech, Occupational, Physical, Developmental, and Behavioral), Autism, and developmental/learning delays. I have learned a lot from these children and their families. I am patient and willing to learn any extra needs your children have. I learn quickly and I am a great communicator. I want to help your children as much as I do, and in my past three years the children I cared for have led me to change my career choice from a pediatric nurse to a special education teacher. I have seen a huge difference in these children when they are able to work with someone who understands their needs and is not intimidated by them.
