My name is Peggy. I live in the Manahawkin area. I moved here about 20 months ago. I was a caregiver/companion for 3 years. I had to leave my job because of my move. I loved my clients and hated leaving them. I still keep in touch with some. I moved to be close to my daughter and 2 small grandchildren. I am a mom of 5 grown children, worked in the school system with special needs children for 8 years and then moved on caring for the elderly. I love caring for people. I watch my grandchildren often, but it is time for me to get out there again and do what I love doing. I spent a lot of time caring for my grandmother when she was elderly. My clients had different needs. Some had Alzheimer's, diabetic, blind, or just plain lonely. I love to talk with them and listen to their stories. I do light meal prep, doctor appointments, errands, food shopping.
