I have a passion in my heart for children and adults with special needs. I plan to go into elementary education with a focus on special education. I have been chosen all four years of my high school career to work as a peer tutor in the special needs class at Cleveland High School. I assist in class work, as well as helping them develop socially. I watched one student after school independently for about six months. I was responsible for helping with homework, exercising with her, making her dinner and keeping her entertained. I love to read, be outside, and make art. I am very artistic and one reason that I love children, especially mentally challenged children, is because of the beautiful things their minds can create. I am very responsible, fun loving, and energetic.
