I have experience with children of all ages. I can offer tutoring and I have experience with special needs. Although I'm a full-time student at a college (Liberal Studies major), I am going to put my studies on hold so I can help my husband with some house bills. I've raised 4 kids. My oldest just graduated and is off to University, 1 in high school, 1 in middle school, and 1 in elementary. So as you can see, I have many years of experience with children. I've also volunteered at an Elementary School as part of my child development class assignment, observing preschool kids, writing anecdotal and running records of children (detailed records of children's progress and/or activities performed), assisted them during lunch time, watched them at playground, and assist teacher during centers (classroom time). My skills also include working with children with special needs, especially autism, as I have my daughter with autism (high functioning). I have lot of patience and my goal is to become a prekindergarten - 12th grade teacher someday. So as you can see, I have lots of experience with school-age children as well as babies. My own kids also went through infancy. Patience and being very cautious at every single moment is a must with me. The love and knowledge we provide our children is what they will grab and hold on to. Watching a child's development progress is my strength and motivation when working with children.
