I have taken care of a mentally challenged boy for one year. He was so much fun to watch. I looked forward to our time together. He always gave the biggest hugs. I also have taken care of one boy from the ages of 7-9 years old that had much more severe problems. He was severely mentally handicapped, had ADHD and autism. He was at 18-month-old level when he was nine. I enjoyed trying to get him to learn and try new things. I also worked with his therapist on language skills, motor skill and behavioral issues.
