I have worked for about two years, with individuals with developmental disabilities, in a home-like setting. I have worked with individuals who have Autism (different parts of the spectrum), Cerebral Palsy, Schizophrenia, and ADHD, just to name a few. I received extensive training in how to deal with behaviors and redirect behaviors. I am also trained in CPR, First Aid, Suicide Prevention, and helping disabled individuals set and reach goals, as well as become more independent. I enjoy working with special needs individuals. I learned a lot from them in the past two years, and I am excited to learn more from them, as they learn more from me.
