I worked for a non-profit organization for four years as a counselor. The organization provides group homes and day programs for adults, and children with disabilities. I taught daily living skills in a day program and took clients on outings in the community, made crafts. I also worked in a children's group home where I was more of a caretaker. Cooking meals, cleaning, making sure hygiene habits were followed, transported to and from activities, also brought kids to doctor appointments. I fully enjoy helping others, and making kids/people happy.
