My past experience, I've worked with a young lady who was diagnose with rubinstein taybi syndrome for four summers and I absolutely loved it! I had to set up activities, make her lunch and give her a bath every night. My priority was to make sure she was happy and had the best summers. After working with this young women, I was hired to work for Looking Upwards with children who have been diagnose with Autism both verbal and non verbal. I worked with their long and short term goals. Now, I currently work for the State of Massachusetts with adults/seniors with variety types of disabilities. I use maxi lifts, very familiar with G tubes, shower them/ change diapers, and prepare their dinner and also set up activities.
