I have worked in autism for 10 years in schools and have worked outside of school with 6 different children. I have done respite care and Intensive Individual Support Services Technician with The Whole Self Center. I was responsible for twins with autism and worked with the children in school as well. I also have worked with a young girl with autism for 5 years providing her family with weekend care for 6 hours either during the day or night. I take her from school to her house and go shopping if she wants. I have four other families I have worked with and will give references if needed. I love working with children with autism because they have changed my life and made me see the world differently. I love watching them change in the slightest and everything they do and talk about is amazing. I will sit and have conversations about bridges, aliens, trains, music, and sports for hours.
