I have been involved with Special Olympics for 7 years, and volunteered at an Extended School Year (ESY) Program for four years for those students with special needs that get year long educational structure. I have babysat for children with Autism and Down Syndrome before and am very passionate about getting to know them and helping them in anyway possible. I am currently in my senior year of college at Rider University studying Psychology and Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education. I have had three years of classroom experience with students with special needs. I can help with homework, continued ABA if needed, and transitional services practice.
