I have worked for the Public Schools program ESY (Extended School Year) over the summer of 2012. I worked with children with special needs including Down syndrome, autism, behavioral issues, and deaf, so I have learned some American sign language. I am passionate about working with children with special needs coming from a family with a handicap brother. Also, I feel that children with special needs should have the same care as other children but it sometimes takes a little more patience.
