I graduated New York University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Studies. My coursework has included classes studying and analyzing Children's Literature and Development, and learning behavior management skills including positive reinforcement. I currently attend Columbia University, where I am studying Early Childhood Education and Special Education. For the past four years, I have been a tutor in New York City public schools, where I assist in caring for and tutoring children of various grade levels. Most recently I have worked in a Kindergarten classroom, in which some of the students had special needs. I have experience working with children with ADHD, ASD, emotional disorders, learning disabilities, and ODD. I interned for one year at NYU's Child Study Center, where I was on a team that treated young children with ADHD and ODD using Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.
