Well, when I was in high school, I would help special ed teacher with her tasks basically like her assistant. I would help out special needs students with their work. I was very patient because I realized they are more serious than regular ed student. Special needs students take time to understand something, but they are willing to learn. I only have 4 years working with these kinds of students in school during an after school program for volunteer work. I had to graduate with 60 community service hours and I did more then 60 hours because I enjoyed what I did. I also take care of kids.
