Hi! I am an experienced caregiver for children with Type 1 Diabetes. I have a 5 year old niece with Type 1 Diabetes and I have taken a class at the Barbara Davis Center. I have taken care of my niece for extended periods of time (overnights), and I have experience with carb counting, insulin shots, blood sugar readings, emergency procedures, and most importantly, I am educated on Type 1 Diabetes. I have a bachelors degree in Biology, and I previously worked in clinical research, so I have a very good understanding about the disease. I am a stay at home mom, but I am available for date night/weekend care or weekday care (if I can bring my daughter). Hope I'm the babysitter you're looking for! Thanks!
