I have five years of experience caring for those with special needs in a facility setting. I recently became a part-time student and am no longer employed in the field. However, caring those who may benefit from my companionship has been such a positive experience for me. I'd love to be able to continue doing this. I have a sunny disposition in approaching any situation, which goes a long way in making those you work with comfortable and happy. I pride myself on not only being detail oriented and efficient, but as somebody who creates a friendly and personable atmosphere. I am experienced in medication management and administration, insulin administration, activities of daily living assistance, hygiene regimens, scheduling and providing transportation for medical and personal appointments, personal shopping, housekeeping, tutoring, and pet care. In my my last five years as a caregiver for seniors, Alzheimer's patients, the learning disabled and those with special needs of all ages (ADHD, Asperger's and other forms of medium to high functioning Autism, primarily), I've encountered a vast variety of needs and personalities and I'm open to new experiences with new people.
