My goal is to help people do the things that are most meaningful to them. I previously worked as a Direct Support Professional, working primarily in an after-school program with children with disabilities. There, I provided respite and supported community living (goal-oriented) services to both children and adults with special needs. I am passionate about what I do mostly because I love working with people and forming friendships with my clients. It brings me joy work on building skills to make him or her more independent, or to simply provide support for the things he or she is unable to do for themselves. The clients, family members, and fellow staff I have worked with have been some of the most beautiful people, inside and out. I am excited to bring my experience, my sense of humor, my patience, and my genuineness to more places!
