Hi, my name is Jessica. My experience as a caregiver consists of 2 years working in a hospital as a nurse's aide, 4 years working for for two non-profits (group homes) for children and adults with developmental disabilities as a direct care staff member, and I'm going on my 8th year working as an instructional aide in special education. One of the schools I work at quite often is a special needs school. I'm very comfortable working with medically fragile infants, children and adults. I have experience working with kids who are on oxygen, have a g-tube and/or have a seizure disorder. I feel comfortable giving medications, breathing treatments and g-tube feedings. I'm familiar with adaptive equipment such as gait trainers, standers and AFOs. I'm also CPR Certified and I volunteer for CERT (Community Emergency Response Team).
