I have been a personal care attendant since May of 2009. I have had the pleasure of working with children with Autism, Williams Syndrome, and Physical disabilities. The children ranged from 3 - 16. I have gained a lot experience in ABA therapy, and have provided ABA services through an in home counseling job to families with children with Autism. As well I attended physical, speech and nero therapies and gained some basic knowledge on these therapies and incorporated programs including these therapies in the home. In addition, I have worked with adults with Physical disabilities and mental disabilities. I have worked in a group home setting as well as an in home setting. I have experience with safe transfers and providing assistance with daily living tasks. I have experience very aggressive children and adult as well as people with no aggression. I am very energetic and committed to helping people with their lives. I enjoy seeing the people I work with thrive and improve. I plan to continue in this field. I have received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, minoring in Human Services. I am not currently attending school and have an open availability.
