In high school, I was a teacher assistant in the special education classrooms for two years where I helped students prepare for life skills after school. I also helped them with their homework. The past two summers, I have worked at a camp for people who have disabilities, where I hang out with and show people who have disabilities what their talents really are. I show them that they are equally and should be able to express how they feel in activities. I then worked for an autism project where I would help little kids who have autism with everyday life skills and catching them up in school. I currently work for a group home for people who have disabilities doing everything from just hanging out to doing personal cards.
