For the past 12 years I have worked with the full range of children in a variety of settings, home, therapists' office, but most often in a school setting, both private and public. The oldest of 20 grandchildren of a Reading Specialist, I spent a lot of time from an early age looking after others. After a brief stint in the late 90's (hey who didn't?) I left to go back into Education as my true passion. While the money isn't as equivalent, I sleep easy knowing I make a difference in the lives of people who need it the most. Nice things are nice, but they are only things, after all! I am currently applying to USF Teacher Residency Program, and need to save up for the summer time. I also want to find a family or two to work with over the summer, but as of yet I do not know what my specific availability will be until I get into the program.
