My childcare experience comes from the care of my own children. I have a 9-year-old son with autism who I have helped with many behavioral problems. I have learned many tips and strategies for dealing with difficult behaviors over the years from watching and participating in my son's therapies with ABA tutors, speech therapists and occupational therapists. This has given me much experience in dealing with children with special needs. I also have a 5-year-old typical daughter without special needs. Additionally, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and would like to eventually pursue a job as an early intervention specialist, focusing on helping children with developmental disabilities.
