I have cared for children with special needs as a babysitter as well as working with the Special Olympics, volunteering at games and tournaments. I love working with Special Olympics athletes because they demonstrate all of the admirable qualities in a good athlete. I grew up spending a lot of time with my friend who has Angelman's Syndrome. I love spending time with her and seeing all of the progress she has made over the years. I am very comfortable and happy to be around those with special needs and would be grateful for any opportunities to do so.
