Prior to moving to the USA, I worked as a Speech Therapist in both the hospital and school settings. Although I loved my career, I need to obtain a masters degree in the USA to be able to practice as a speech therapist. I have worked in the neonatal ICU with babies with feeding difficulties and ran clinics for children with Autism as well as children with CP, feeding difficulties and developmental delay. I have also worked in the preschool and school setting with both normally developing and children with difficulties. I also have experience working with adults, although my passion lies with childhood education and stimulation. I love facilitating learning through fun, everyday experiences involving arts and crafts, outdoor activities and outings. I am open, friendly and empathetic and would love to become part of a families support team in raising their child.
