I have worked for a company with individuals with various developmental disabilities for a little over 8 years. My duties have included assisting them with daily living skills and behavioral management, the degree of assistance needed varies greatly from one individual to another, some are quite independent needing only supervision while others are wheelchair bound needing complete assistance. While I really do love my job I'm looking to find a more one on one situation, I find that bond rewarding! I have worked with individuals ranging in age from 21-70 but I am open to younger as well. I have my clearances and a clean background and driving record. That is a must for the job I've had the past 8+ years. Hopefully I can care for your loved one!
