A few years ago, I had the pleasure of working with a client that was diagnosed with Sundowner disease. In the morning when I would get here, the sweetest person you would ever want to meet, by 7:30 p.m. the changes that happen. I really understood why the family asked for help; it was too much for them. I worked for them for two years. My job was to assist him with a total bath or shower meals, to take him out to appointment, food shopping, etc. I always engage him in conversation that would remind him of time and place.
