I have worked in the healthcare field since I was 17, and in that time, I have worked not only one-on-one, but also in settings where I have came into contact with large numbers of people on a daily basis. I have worked in nursing homes, as well as group homes. I have been a resident caregiver, a social living skills counselor, and a house lead for 10 months. Currently, I am employed as a living skills trainer, through a social service. Also, I am Home Health Aide through a local company and when I'm not working those jobs, I am a PCA for an older gentleman. I have my PCA certification, Therapeutic Intervention training and I am CPR/First Aid certified. I love keeping busy, as you can tell, with three jobs currently! One of them will be ending soon and the others don't offer too many hours at the moment, so I am looking for something that will keep me busy and is long-term. I am a loyal provider, I am honest, open and I absolutely love finding ways to make things work better for my consumers, as well as myself. I love cooking, cleaning and adore kids.
