I was a camp counselor for a special needs camp called JBSRA. My duties included interacting with children who had CP, Downs Syndrome, ADHD, Pica, children who were wheel chair bound and children who were autistic. I loved my job for many reasons and that is why I have chosen social work as a career. I plan on continuing to work with children who have autism. I had one of the most rewarding summer jobs of my life and I plan on going back there this summer when I can to help out!
