I am a board certified music therapist currently seeking work in my field of expertise. However, I have many years (5+) experience working with children with disabilities, medical conditions and other special needs (as well as typically developing children). As I look for a full time position in Music Therapy, I am seeking part time work utilizing my skills in working with children with special needs! I love children, and I am one at heart (even with a college degree!) :) My specialty is working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, however I have a lot of experience with MANY other disabilities and conditions. I have previously been AMAP and SCIP-R certified, First Aid and CPR as well. My proudest skill is my understanding that people with special needs are no different than everyone else. They just require some extra love!
