I have always had a passion for special needs children. Through out middle school and high school I participated in a club called the Circle of Friends which gave me a lot of experience with Down's syndrome and autism spectrum diagnosis. Now that I am in college I am a Child Life major and have observed and volunteered at many special needs schools. Along with my hours of experience with special needs children, I am also the Vice President of a special needs club on my campus called the Student Council for Children with Exceptional Needs. With this club, I have helped host a special needs prom at our local special needs school and led many nights of babysitting for children with special needs at a local church.
