My name is Hannah. I am a 22-year-old college student who is going to school to become an Occupational Therapist. I just moved to Kalamazoo from Grand Rapids, and I am looking for a part-time position. I have a lot of experience with children of many different ages and abilities. I have done A LOT of work with children with special needs. My most recent position (that I left only because of my move) was nannying for a family with three girls. The oldest was 14 years old and had cerebral palsy and autism. She was also nonverbal and limited on her independent abilities. The younger girls were ages 5 and 9. In this position, I did everything from cleaning and cooking to getting the girls ready and taking them to appointments, and of course there was a lot of playing too! I have also worked with infants/toddlers. I nannied for a 6-month-old boy with cerebral palsy, and I also helped raise my too younger sisters who are 10 years younger than me. This just a short list of my experiences. I would be happy to give you more information if you are interested. To describe myself, I would say that I am a very loving and caring person. I am very passionate about helping individuals in need, and I am very good with children. I love playing with children and making them smile and laugh. I am also a responsible and reliable individual. I am looking for any part-time babysitting/care giving position with children. Although I have done a lot of work with children with special needs, I am not solely looking for this type of position. Also, I am flexible with my work responsibilities.
