I have been a special education teacher for 11 years. In North Carolina, I am licensed as a special education teacher in general curriculum and severe disabilities. In South Carolina, I am licensed as a special education teacher in multi-categorical and severe disabilities. I have a masters in special education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I was a behavior-emotional teacher, trainable mentally disabled teacher, cross-categorical teacher, resource teacher and inclusion teacher while in North Carolina. I taught in North Carolina for 7 years. As a special education teacher in North Carolina I have worked with students in grades K-5. I have been a learning disabled teacher in South Carolina for two years. I have been an intellectual disabled teacher working with students in grades K-3 for the past two years. In South Carolina I have worked with students in grades K-8. I have had different experiences as a special education teacher. While in college I worked with mentally disabled seniors. I cared for the seniors in a group home setting. I am qualified to work with special needs seniors/students. I love to work with all children.
