I am currently a volunteer at a place where I work with a non-verbal autistic boy. It is difficult at times, but overall a lot of fun and very rewarding. Being able to see the smile on his face when I have made a difference to him. I have been working with him for a year, and I have a close family friend who has cerebral palsy that I am very close with. Aside from that, I do not have very much experience with special needs care, but I do have a great deal of experience with baby-sitting.
