For over 10 years I took care of a retired attorney, Mr. H. I provided him with all appointments, medical, barber shop, grocery shopping, banking, the cleaners and laundry, and acted as his chauffeur. He loved to play black jack. I would drive him to Atlanta City, NJ, as he lived in Riverdale, NY. I love helping the seniors. I have always had a passion for them. I am kind and always provide them with a word of encouragement, and I never overpower them with taking their independence away from them from what they are capable of doing for themselves, I am very happy and jolly with them and that comes natural for me. I also listen to them carefully in order to know what their needs are and learn their personality. I also cared for two ladies, that just had a need for companionship, as well as chauffeured them to their appointments, or to stay over night or fill in when their regular caregivers were not available. I am a very good defensive driver with a perfect driving record. I am also a compassionate person, and I love what I do and the comfort it gives me knowing I am helping someone. I also did a volunteer assignment for the Visiting Center in downtown Lawrenceville, GA. 2011-2012.
