I am extremely passionate when it comes to working with those with special needs. I am currently in the Special Education program in NEAG School of Education at the University of Connecticut, which is renowned for its Special Education program. I do not have any paid experience, but have six years of volunteer experience. I work hands on with special needs students, in and out of the classroom. I love to work with such great individuals and am heavily involved at my University's Best Buddies program. I started volunteering with students with special needs in high school with various clubs and organizations, and knew that this was the right career path for myself. I am passionate for this, because of the joy that these individuals bring to my life! They are a major source of happiness in my life and they truly help me more than I help them. I would be a perfect fit as a care giver to your child, because I would put in my all to ensure they are happy, healthy, and cared for.
