For the past several years, I've worked as a home care aide with two wonderful families. In one family, I cared for a young teenage girl recovering from several serious brain surgeries. Her road to recovery was a long, but incredible journey, that gave me the heart for home care. Throughout college, I worked in the home of a developmentally disabled female, who was nonverbal and confined to a wheelchair, but whose smile alone brought so much joy to everyone around her, she was an absolute delight. My experience ranges from personal hygiene and feeding to transportation and entertainment. I am available for infant, youth, adolescent, adult, or senior care- regardless of physical or mental capabilities.
