10 Months ago my sister (58) was in a car accident. She was in a coma for 2 weeks. TBI/fractured right clavical. She is now receiving therapy 3 days a week. Aside from her PCP I was my sister's primary caregiver. Her son and daughter asked for my help. I made Dr.'s appts. and took her to them. I did PT, SP and OT with her each day in addition to VNA. I also helped with bathing and dressing. I still care for my sister a couple of days a week. She is truly a miracle! I did not get paid to help my sister. In my late teens I was a NA.
