Hello, I have 15 years experience as a preschool teacher. During my years as a preschool teacher I have provided special needs care to ADHD children and those with mild Autism. I believe that children are a gift from God and need to be treated in a manner that reflects this. I believe in positive reinforcement and getting to know the child, their needs, wants and ways that would work best for them to be productive in their life and be enriched by their environment. Even though many do not take the time to talk with special needs children, I come from the school of thought that the more you interact with a child, on a personal level, more love and trust becomes a bond between you and the parents.
