Hi! My name is Dawne :D I have extensive experience in childcare, early childhood development, preschool education, special education, health & nutrition, and behavioral guidance. I am a loving, friendly, compassionate, & energetic person who has 25+ years of experience raising children and caring for infants, toddlers, young children, adolescents, and individuals with special needs. I have many years of experience working in regular & special education. For 15+ years I was a private home daycare provider of a day care & tutoring company including the care for children with special needs. Presently, I provide respite care for an adult with special needs "as needed" and work as a full-time nanny for a wonderful family ending at the end of this month. Children are my joy & sharing my time with them is what I love & do best! I enjoy being outside, going on outings, arts & crafts, reading, music, and fostering the developmental stages & imagination with play & appropriate higher level thinking skills. I'm a genuinely patient and caring person with a calm temperament and sunny disposition. I have references available and I'm CPR certified.
