For more than 15 years I have been involved in special education, creating and implementing social and academic programming for students with disabilities. For the past six years, I have primarily worked as a special education teacher in a self-contained classroom where I have delivered instruction and provided case management services. I have solid experience as an educator with planning and implementing high-quality instruction for students of all ability levels to attain critical academic, behavioral, social, and life skills goals. I am compassionate and patient in all my work with students and clients with disabilities. In addition to the above experiences as an educator, I have worked privately with clients with disabilities as a 1-to-1 support coach teaching academic and life skills, as well as providing on-the-job coaching and employment support. I also currently coach allied sports within the county school system where I am employed.

Dan currently works with our oldest son, 8, after school Monday- Friday. Our son is very hyperactive with some sensory issues, as well as anxiety. He instantly connected with Dan, who takes him on daily adventures (the library, the park, a museum), before bringing him home to help him with his homework, or other life skills. Dan has even set up a weekly reward system to help him accomplish these goals as they are very difficult for him. Dan is 100% reliable and responsible. I have even left my other two boys with him as well, and the three boys love this time. I would highly recommend Dan!!!
