I am 23-years-old and I am a Philadelphia resident. I am a young adult with great ambition and a strong work ethic. I set a goal to work with children and become a teacher and that is just what I did. I graduated from Lock Haven University in May 2013 and I started my first teaching position in September 2013. I am now Learning Support Teacher and I love my job. Throughout my college career, I worked in childcare settings. I have been in a company based and babysitting based. I worked for a YMCA both in the Infant room and the After-School Program. When I wasn't in school or working at the YMCA, I was babysitting on my weekends for parents that liked to spend some time together. I really enjoy the work that I do. I have always known that working with children was my passion and I take my job opportunities seriously. I see each child as an individual with their own needs, and I treat each child differently. Everyone has their own needs, and to see children grow and succeed, it is important to treat them as an individual and touch upon their needs.
