I just graduated from college with a bachelor's of science in communication disorders. This fall I will be moving to Boston to study speech-language pathology. I am inspired by my uncle, who is autistic. It is truly amazing to see how far he has come. I have experience from high school in helping out with a social group for students with Asperger's syndrome. I also have some experience volunteering to baby-sit children with Autism for a parent support group near my school. For the past year, I have been regularly babysitting two children, one of whom has diabetes. I have enjoyed learning the ins and outs of managing her condition. I am a fast learner and open to babysitting for children with other special needs.
