Hello! Thank you for reading my profile. I'm a nurse and live in San Francisco. I've worked as a pediatric public health nurse with children with special healthcare needs such as diabetes, asthma, rare congenital disorders, cerebral palsy, ADD and others. I grew up with foster care siblings and siblings with developmental delays and behavioral issues. I've worked as a gymnastics coach for children with cerebral palsy and autism. I enjoy working with children and have a medical background to care for any child with healthcare needs. I'm also bilingual Spanish speaking. I love working with children and adults. I believe in the positive discipline model and using redirection. I work to use developmentally age appropriate care. I am now a registered nurse and working to gain some extra income to pay of my student loans. My specialty is in diabetes management at Kaiser. I have a per diem nursing schedule, so my availability changes, but I am happy to fill in short notice for baby-sitting.
