I have a huge passion for special needs children and adults. I began getting experience with special needs children, especially autistic children when I was 6 years old. I am now 22. My brother was born when I was 6 and began having seizures at 6 months old. I helped my mom and dad greatly and it was out of pure joy and love. My brother, was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3 and he is severely developmentally delayed. He is now 16 and doctors are amazed to see him thriving in life. I have worked with 2 other families that have children with special needs, both were amazing experiences. My husband always tells me I do not seem happy unless I am working with individuals like my brother. I have hopes to eventually get my masters in Applied Behavior Analysis and serve families in any way I can!
